Message From the Chair
Dear Colleagues,
Welcome to PRAM’s new web site! Designed with our members in mind, we hope this new website becomes a valuable resource for your professional development and networking as well as the “go-to” site for outreach to fellow PRAMmers and AAM related information.
Check back frequently for announcements about special PRAM activities including upcoming webinars, annual meeting sessions, listserv discussions, and regional initiatives. The site also offers colleague recommended on-line resources about social networking, marketing, communications, as well as best practices for your profession. To further enhance our active listserv and e-newsletter blasts, future plans include adding PRAM Facebook, Flickr, and Twitter links.
As a PRAM member, this is YOUR web site. We want to hear from you! Send us your favorite web sites, blogs, newsletters, must-read columns, and must-see guides. Let us know what inspires you and we’ll share those favorite resources with all our PRAM colleagues.
Thanks to hard-working and endlessly creative PRAM Board members, I am proud to launch our new website. As experienced leaders in the communications profession, your volunteer PRAM Board Members are truly dedicated to this organization. We will continue to address the important issues that we all face, including how to communicate in economically challenging times and how best to harness the variety of social networks and multi-media applications available to us. PRAM stands ready to provide the best in advance training and professional growth. Our new website is our first step toward fulfilling this important goal.
On behalf of the PRAM Board, thank you for the opportunity to serve the PRAM membership. It is an honor to represent such an outstanding organization. We also extend our appreciation to the AAM staff for their hard work, inspiration, and support of PRAM and its members.
Your thoughts, suggestions, and comments about PRAM are welcome. Please feel free to contact me or any PRAM Board member. We’re only a click, phone call, Tweet, email, or button away!
Kindest regards,
Amy Athey McDonald
